History
History: | The Patcham Peace Garden is nicknamed by groundsmen ‘The Coffin’ because of the shape of its grassed centre. The columns and small temple were purchased from the 1924 Wembley Exhibition when it ended. The Peace Garden was opened in 1897 as a War Memorial. |
