Description: | Faces south-west. Wall mounted, seated portrait relief sculpture of Elizabeth Mary Poyntz. The figure's hands are clasped to her chest in an expression of devotion and virtue. The seated figure rests on a plinth, the front of which bears an inscription. |

MARY POYNTZ / A LADY WHOSE SPOTLESS LIFE, ADORNED BY EVERY CHRISTIAN GRACE / SHONE BEFORE MEN A LOVELY AND VENERABLE IMAGE OF FEMALE WORTH AND DIGNITY. / IN HER THE BLESSED FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT: / MEEKNESS, HUMILITY, RESIGNATION, CHARITY, FERVENT PIETY AND STEADFAST FAITH; / EVER ABOUNDED AND INCREASED TO HER DYING DAY. / SHE DEPARTED IN HOPE ON THE 30TH. DAY OF DECR. MDCCCXXX IN THE 64TH. YEAR OF HER AGE. / AND WAS BURIED NEAR HER EXCELLENT MOTHER FRANCES VISCOUNTESS MONTAGUE / WHO DIED IN 1814 AGED 83. / THIS MONUMENT IS ERECTED BY HER AFFLICTED HUSBAND W.S.
