History
History: | The fountain basin was designed to receive thrown coins, providing donations to Children in Need. This was later changed to the Royal Alexandra Hospital. The original estimated cost was £5000. The artist used his own children as models for the children on the sculpture. A Brighton and Hove bus bears the artist's name. |
