Jon Edgar - Biography


Born Rustington in 1968. Trained at the Frink School of Figurative Sculpture. A sculptor of place who uses improvisation in his practice, and the community in his public works. Major works include: Wight Man (2006) unsited, Lewes Group (2010), Lewes, Charmer (2012 bronze) University of Surrey campus, Portal (2013), Devil’s Punch Bowl, Hindhead, Trisantonis (2014), Pulborough, presently entrance RSPB Pulborough Brook, and a new work at Slindon (2015) National Trust Slindon commission.
