Description: | A stone sarcophagus with a moulded cross on top. The north and south sides have sculptural relief panels depicting dancing winged cherubs. The west side of the tomb bears the Eckstein coat of arms. |
Signatures: | No signature legible but Pevsner states that the relief panels are signed and dated by Reid Dick. |
Inscription: | IN MEMORY OF SIR BERNARD ECKSTEIN BART. BORN 2ND NOVEMBER 1894 DIED 10TH MAY 1948 West side of tomb has the Eckstein coat of arms with motto IN VIRTUTE ROBOR. |
